there is a faux polaroid of me
next to the black box
with the white text all about
the normal things that fill my life
and though it is shockingly ordinary
it is somehow fitting
only i never had the crazy adventure
don't have ninety minutes of storytelling
that leaves you breathless,
that makes the white text in the black box
make any kind of sense
